snow leopard miniature watercolour painting

Snow Leopard © Tracy Hall 2012
2" x 2" watercolour
This week I managed to finish up a new miniature painting of a snow leopard, once again drawing on a visit last year to Marwell (the 'ghost' penny is just shown for scale...it isn't in the painting which is enlarged here). I haven't managed to complete many miniatures over the summer so it has been lovely to be back amongst the tiny brushes!

Don't forget if you are near London over the next few days that there is still time to see the Royal Miniature Society exhibition at the Mall Galleries which closes on 28th. A short hop away across the Thames you can find some of more of my miniatures at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery in Waterloo and I am also sending off some new pieces shortly to the Elford Fine Art Gallery based in Devon.
