Snow Leopards © Tracy Hall 2012
2" x 4" watercolour on Arches paper.
Last autumn we were able to see the gorgeous snow leopard cubs at Marwell Zoo when they were a few months old, and this is the first of (hopefully) a few snow leopard paintings as a result. Sadly one of the three has since died, but the remaining cubs are apparently doing well and they and their parents are all part of a European breeding programme. I'll be sending this painting along with quite a few others to the Hilliard Society International Minaiture Art exhibition that opens on May 26th in Wells, Somerset - about more later!

Simply stunning Tracy - all your works have such a gentle but quality feel about them. I can just picture you with your tiny paintbrushes painstakingly and lovingly applying each stroke!! :)
