2.25" x 1.75" watercolour
I finally completed a miniature painting of a black headed gull that has been lurking here for weeks and also begun what I hope will be a short series of harbour scenes. This one is from Stromness. I tend to avoid boats (because I find them hard to draw!) but figured I needed the practice...and I really should have a go since I live on an island.

Below is a composite image of bits of some of the most recent paintings for jigsaws - I'll show them in full when they are published later in the year. Currently working on sheep!

So beautiful, Tracey. Are you planning on putting up any new videos anytime soon? My grandson loves to watch them with me to see your paintings unfold before our eyes.
Hi Carol, thank you :) Thats so nice to hear you and your grandson enjoy the videos so much together - I haven't really thought about doing another one and I've been so busy there wouldn't have been time anyway! But if I can fit it in I promise I will try...and this is where you'll see it first :)
Wonderful images, Tracy! My respect and admiration!
Love them Tracy! I find your compositions so fresh, and like the way the wood makes the frame for the bird. Great job on the rusty hardware.
I agree with you on boats, ugh, hard to draw! However, you have done a great job on this one, no one would know you had a problem! Nice reflection too.
Dear Tracy,
Lovely and your work has something heartwarming. Please keep up.
Kind regards, Sadami

Really great Tracy, well done on the boats, really like the bird and the weathered look.
