Fruit...

I'm currently working on some larger paintings destined for the puzzle market, most of which I can't really show until they are released unfortunately. But can update with a few snippets periodically - otherwise this blog will remain rather quiet for the rest of the year! Spent yesterday happily working on some apples and pears for a small corner of this painting. Below are some recent releases with companies in the UK and US:

How exciting Tracy - this looks like something quite different to what you normally do, but still really fabulous. Do you mind if I ask how large these works will be and what mediums you are using?

I knew it............I believe I said to my husband one day, she should make this into a puzzle, about one of your paintings. I just knew it!
Not surprised you sell your art this way. I wonder if I have any puzzles drawn by you. We have shelves full. We often have one going on the table at wintertime.
Your work is so beautiful. Inspires me to keep practicing.
Thanks so much!

Hi Karen, actually this is what I spend most of my time doing! I slip the miniatures in whenever I can though:) For jigsaw companies the paintings are usually 28" x 20", which all of these are, and mine are all done in watercolour.

Hi Carol - thank you! It would be fun if you had any of mine. I always think its a great idea to have a puzzle on the go in the winter but don't often get round to it (Its good for me to actually try doing them as well but often the last thing I want to look at when I finish work for the day!)

Thank you Sadami :) Thats very kind of you Tina, although I should think watching me for several hours could get a bit boring!

Thanks Irina and Shalini - hopefully once the whole painting is completed it will make a little more sense, Irina. Watercolours are wonderfully cool Shalini!

Hi Michelle, thank you and good to hear from you :)

Wonderful detail, thanks for a glimpse into what you are currently working on.

I admire your abilty to create such large pieces with all those, almost individual, pieces inside it. That's a lot of work. How long does it take you complete one?

Thank you isabel :)

Hi Jeanette, thanks - they vary really but I usually like to allow about a month. There's a lot going on in them!
