wildlife artist of the year exhibition

I was absolutely thrilled to hear last night that my miniature painting of Effie ('Pensive') had received a 'Highly Commended' at the Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition!

Really sorry not to be able to go to the preview, which was by all accounts a great evening, but if you are in London over the coming week do try and get along to the Mall Galleries to see the show. In addition to the finalists work, there is also a display by three generations of the Shepherd family and guest artists. 50% from ALL sales go to help fund projects by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

A huge congratulations to all the winners - to see more visit Making A Mark

To see all the short-listed works and find out more about the reasons behind the exhibition:

The exhibitions runs until 4pm Saturday at the Mall Galleries, London.

Kim, I must admit I was absolutely delighted that a miniature made it that far...having not seen the show I am not sure how they displayed it yet, but its got to be a good sign for miniature painters!
