Tomorrow is the opening of the 19th Annual Miniature Show at the Seaside Gallery in USA, and above are my three paintings on show there. Its not a very good photo but the only one I have of them framed. There are over 550 miniatures included from artists all over the world. You can also view the whole show online . I was delighted to hear that the Chimpanzee has already found a new home! The exhibition runs until June 5th.
The 18th Annual Miniature Show at Parklane Gallery in the US also opens this week (May 4th to June 6th) but I don't yet know if my work has even arrived there unfortunately. Hoping they have, here they are framed: (Update - now I know they arrived as the entire exhibition is now available to view online.)
Although it doesn't open until May 24th, the Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition organised by the David Shepherd Foundation is also now available to view online - and even though my gorilla painting is only 3.25" x 2.25" I was rather amazed to see they have blown it up to fill the whole screen! No need for a magnifying glass then :)

Amazing to see the Gorilla blown up like this, all the detail is beautiful. Well done and crossing fingers for you! Lesley
Congratulations, Tracy on your sale!! Three beautiful works. I'm looking forward to seeing the four at the Parklane Exhibit!
Beautiful painting of the Gorilla. Amazing detail.
Tracy, congrats on all this exciting stuff! So glad your gorilla got a well-deserved salute, too. I holds up magnificently when enlarged,( the true test of a great mini!)
Went on-line and checked out the show (didn't enter this year). Your worked looked great. Sale is very deserving!
Thanks Lesley - I hope no one is disappointed when they see it at the Gallery and discover its not ten feet tall!
Thanks Barbara - looking forward to seeing your photos of the event too and expect all yours to sell!
Thanks Michelle and Mona, very happy you like it. I hope you can eneter next year again Gail. Have you work at Parklane?
These are wonderful Tracy! I'm not surprised that your chimp sold. It's an excellent work. I didn't realize Parklane was online now...Thanks for posting the link!
I admire your art very much and love to watch your videos
Thank you for sharing!I love to follow your blog.
Tracy,
Your work with watercolor is purely awesome. I love the videos showing how you created the piece. This is really how I learn. I'm self-taught, dabbling in watercolor only the past 6 months or so and my works looks like a fifth grader. I'm practicing. Hope you'll stop by my blog and take a peek. Always looking for feedback, encouragement and new artist friends. Enjoy your Mother's Day weekend.
Thanks so much, All Kids of Everything, its lovely to have you here :)
Thank you for the lovely comments Carol and great to hear you are enjoying the watercolours!
I hope you all have a lovely Mothers Day in the US
