Watercolour on Two Rivers paper.
Parrot tulips are gorgeous; the colours almost defy you to paint them. I really like Two Rivers paper, for flowers in particular it is very hard to beat. I would use it more than I do if they did it in a block format for lazy artists like me who hate stretching (this one didn't need it though). Great paper anyway. Plus two new small paintings for a greeting card company:

That tulip is fantastic!! The paintings for the greeting cards are totally charming!!
HiTracy, I've never seen a tulip like that before, wonder if they are only in the uk or other countries as well. Will have to look that up. Anyways, you've done a stunning job on it and I love your card prints too, you have such an imagination to put all this together like that. Great work!!
Thanks so much Angela and Chris. Sally, I bet you can :)
They're lovely tulips aren't they, judy? The shapes/colours are brilliant. They must be pretty tough too as they grow here! I'm sure you can find them in the US.
Glad you like the card designs too. More of them to come.
Oh wooooowwww! I love that tulip Tracy. Such beautiful colours!! I haven't been able to blog very much lately and have missed your beautiful paintings. So what a little feast for my eyes. Hope you're keeping well!
Regards
April
