Collie portrait

collie pet portrait in progress

Barney (work in progress) © Tracy Hall 2009
16" x 12" watercolour on arches

One of my current pieces on the go is this portrait of a beautiful collie called Barney, shown above about half way through. I grew up surrounded by collies and my parents still have a couple, so I have a very soft spot for them.

You've captured that border collie energy brilliantly Tracy! I am in love with this breed too. They truly know how to live life! Beautiful!

This is beautiful Tracy. We have decided that this breed will be our next family member when that time comes. Just love them. The females are such ladies.

Barney is turning out great! Even at this point it could be a finished painting in my eyes.

Tracy, with all my computer problems I missed this one when you put it up. Can't wait to see if finished. Love, love, love the eyes!!
