I had to keep this one simple, Doris, so opted for a more interesting background that would hopefully bring out the rich colours in the goat without being complicated. And glow a bit :)
Tracy, another great mini, you really excell in them. I can't even get in front of my easel lately, you are putting me to shame. :-) Keep up the wonderful work.
I love the fur detail Tracy! you've captured the form of the goat and the 'glow', I especially love the color on the jaw bone matching the color of the background. Also the turn of the ear on the right, great.
I had a Nubian goat..she was quite a character, well I think all goats are characters! haha...great job!

When I would be painted so wonderful by you I too would smile ... :)
Tracy, this is so beautiful.
How did you get the idea to do such a glowing background - it works perfect.
Absolutely beautiful.
Always loved goats and this wee lass is no different. She IS smiling at you and all of us :)
I agree with Doris the background really sets your little goat off! Beautiful!
This is lovely!
The goat looks so soft. Lovely work. Your detail at this scale is amazing always.
This is great Tracy. Your choice of colors is perfect for getting the warmth into the setting. This detail always blows my mind.
Hard to believe these are really water colors. You must have been painting for a many years. It shows! Thanks for sharing some lovely works!

Thanks Judy. I appear to be chained to mine. But you've been painting other things anyway!
